Jade Ellis has been booted off the X Factor in a dramatic sing off between herself and Boyband Union J. The boys were  distraught when they found out that they were in the bottom two as a result of the public vote this evening. Union J sang 'Perfect' by Pink and Jade chose 'White Flag' by Dido. Ellis was eventually booted off by the judges, and became the fourth contestant to leave the show.

Lil Wayne's trial has been postponed due to seizures that he suffered on a private jet on Thursday.  The rapper is suing  Quincy Jones III because of a documentary that he produced about the rapper. Wayne claims that the film contained music that the producers were not allowed to use. He also stated that the documentary was 'scandalous.'

Natina Reed who was best known for being part of the 90's girl group 'Blaque' has died at the age of 32. She was struck by a vehicle at around 10pm on Friday night in Georgia. The driver of the car contact 911, but she was pronounced dead 29 minutes later at Gwinnett Medical Center in Georgia.

Tonight was club classics week on X Factor, and a few of the contestants suffered a tough week. With James Arthur rushed to hospital due to an anxiety attack, Jade Ellis being forced to rest her voice due to throat problems. Shy boy Jahmene Douglas had to face the press attention about his father beating up his mother. The pressure is getting to the contestants, but now they have to realize, that it really is the survival of the fittest.

There have been rumors for months that they will be reuniting, and it has now been confirmed. It has been 10 years since they burst on to the scene after winning Popstars the Rivals. Last night was a shocking on X Factor, as Carolynne Poole was booted off the competition, fans from the live show began tweeting that the decision to take it to deadlock was rigged. 

Rylan Clark was saved from elimination as Louis Walsh made the decision to save Carolynne, then swiftly changed his mind. He then stated "I want to take it to deadlock" just as Carolynne was celebrating getting through.

Tonight saw the first night of the X Factor live shows where 13 contestants began their battle to be crown the winner of X Factor 2012. The first show  presented the artists with whitened teeth, big hair, new threads and new swag. The male contestants looked like they were wearing heavy mascara, or even false lashes, and lots of make up. So, how did the first night of the biggest talent show in the world pan out?
