Angel Haze is just totally looking like the late, great Aaliyah on the front cover of Classik. Anyway, that is another story, it is actually kinda spooky looking at that picture. She blew everyone away at the BET awards and now she is coming with this detailed account of her experiences with childhood rape and abuse. She cuts her verses over the beat of Eminem's 'Cleaning out my closet.' It is gut wrenching, especially for people who have experienced this horrific crime before.
She spits her verses like the scenes from an autobiographical novel. No holes barred, she tells it like it happened, and paints a picture with her lyrical content. If you have experienced rape, this will hit you right in the guts. It will slap you in the face and thrust you right back in time,back to that moment. Have a listen and see what you think. Some critics have branded it too graphic, whilst others have said it is honest and heartfelt. Decide yourselves guys !
