Fearne Cotton has predicted that Moya, who is one of the latest British female singers to burst on to the scene with a sweet, yet edgy sound. Top celeb blogger, Perez Hilton has also tipped her for the top, and he was responsible for predicting the fame of Adele, Amy Winehouse and Lady Gaga.
The 21-year-old singer/songwriter has just released her debut single entitied 'Making Me Fall.' She has also penned her own touching album called, 'Lost and Found'.
The young songstress said in an interview with Reveal Magazine that she was bullied as a child, and that releasing her first single and writing an album was a massive achievement for her. She went on to say that she attended boarding school as a teenager for three years and she hated it, as she was taunted by bullies.
Moya, who is from Dorset said that she has always known what she wanted to do with her life. She said from a young age she knew she wanted to be a singer. She attended part time stage school from the age of six years old, and she has never looked back.
