Kerry Katona's fiance George Kay, who is also the father of her baby girl has been detained under the Mental Health Act.

Police were called to their £2million home on Wednesday evening. After a motorist reported that she had seen him running down the street shouting that someone was going to kill him.  The motorist stated that she had seen him 'running in and out of cars' as he shouted, it was also reported that the rugby league player appeared very agitated.

Witnesses claim they saw Kay running down the street shouting: "Kerry, Kerry, they're going to f****** kill me. They hitting me with the hammer. Why are you letting them do this? Call me a f****** ambulance."

Thames Valley Police arrived at the home Kay shares with Kerry, and pinned him down as they waited for an ambulance. He was detained under the Mental Health Act, and taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and later discharged.

Thames Valley Police have confirmed they were called to the scene as there were fears for a man's welfare. They also confirmed that he was not tested for substance abuse, and that no further action will be taken against him.
