Rapper Lupe Fiasco has warned fans that he might be quitting the rap game for good. He stated that the next album might possibly be his last album. Fiasco, real name Wasalu Muhammad Jaco jumped on Twitter and stated that the next album entitled Lupe Fiasco's Food and Liquor II might be his last release. He let rip on his Twitter page stating:
"I have spoken peace only 2 (to) receive vitriol and malice in return. My brother seeks destruction my sister seeks attention... paths to nothingness. "This album will probably be my last... it's been a pleasure to have all my fans provide so much love an (and) inspiration for me and my family... but my heart is broken and I see no comfort further along this path only more pain. I cannot participate any longer in this... My first true love was literature so I will return to that.."
This announcement comes after Lupe slammed the culture that fellow Chicaco rapper MC Chief Keef represents. He stated in a recent radio interview that he was afraid of the culture that Chief Keef was representing. He stated that the murder rate in Chicago is rapidly increasing and that is terrifying. Chief Keef retaliated on his Twitter page by threatening to slap Fiasco.
